Johnny Depp donates funds from $8,00,000 NFT sale

Johnny Depp recently gave money to The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. This was done more than a month after he won the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Amber had promised to give the money she got from her divorce to the same charity, but she never did.

Recently, actor Johnny Deep sold all of his NFTs from his art community, Never Fear Truth, and gave all of the money from the sale to charities that need help.

The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, which is connected to the actor's ex-wife Amber Heard, is also on the list of organisations that got the money. The money from Depp's NFT sale was $8,000.

Johnny and Amber Heard split up in 2016 after they filed for divorce. Amber had promised to give the Children's Hospital the money she got from her ex-husband when they split up.

In Johnny and Amber's recent trial for slander, it came out that Amber had not done so.

A fan said on Twitter, in response to the actor's donation, "And this, ladies and gentlemen, is philanthropy. And what the difference is between a pledge that wasn't kept and a straight donation.

After losing the defamation case against Johnny, Amber's lawyers recently asked the Fairfax court to overturn the verdict or give her a new trial.
