BTS takes an indefinite break

The K-pop boyband BTS that achieved dizzying heights of popularity has declared a break after 9 years of churning out blockbuster hits and turning into the greatest sensation in music history.

BTS, The world’s greatest boyband, short for Bangtan Sonyeondan or Bulletproof Boy Scouts, reported on Tuesday that they would be taking an indefinite break as a group to focus on their solo careers.

The news was revealed during their annual ‘BTS Festa,’which is the recognition of BTS celebrating yearly anniversaries of the group’s formation on June 13.

Wary of the fact that many fans could be disappointed by the surprise announcement, the band members said, they would come back to release music together in the future and that this was not the end.

Suga, a rapper in the group said in the video released on Weverse, “It’s not like we’re disbanding,” a mobile app and web platform created by the music production company Hybe Corporation and YouTube.

While the reasons behind this decision weren’t immediately clear, the band’s leader, RM, said, “I’ve always thought that BTS was different from other groups.
